As you may know by now, my lifestyle is all about valuing my coin. However, I am no different than the rest of you ladies when it comes to a good bag! What woman does not love a bad ass handbag? With that being said, there is no need to spend all your coins on a bag. Whether you’re on a budget or not, securing a secondhand bag is a great way to save on something stylish and chic.
Here are a few tips to thrifting good bags that are sure to level up your look regardless of the price:
Tip 1: Versatility – Look for bags with adjustable or detachable straps and/or tassels. That way you can easily get more than one look from the bag. Additionally, the option of removing these items may be the difference in your bag looking cheap and looking luxurious. You’ll also enjoy the option of securing a bag that is easily dressed up or down.
Tip 2: Beautiful Leather or Faux Leather – This material is key if you are looking to create a luxurious look, honey!
Tip 3: The Perfect Hardware – If the hardware and chains on the bag are too shiny/excessive, pass on the purchase! This can make your bag look cheap…just because it was cheap doesn’t mean it should look blatantly cheap.
